2. You may have your photo taken free of charge, but you will not receive a copy of the class composite. If you choose this option, your grad photo will still appear in the class composite and in the NLSS yearbook. To book this, write “yearbook only” in the notes section.
News from the Music Department
The music department has had a busy fall with participation in the annual Commencement Ceremonies on November 7th as well as the Remembrance Day assemblies and Forest Cenotaph performance on November 11. The jazz band is in full swing on Thursdays at lunch and our Lunch-time singing group meets every Wednesday.
On November 12th thirty of our musicians joined Mrs. Williams for supper and then enjoyed a performance by professional singer/song writer and former NLSS music grad, Emm Gryner at the Kineto theatre. We also enjoyed the talented Mackinlay sisters who opened for Emm. What a great opportunity for our students to hear such musicianship!
Mark Thursday, Dec. 10 on your calendars! All our NLSS musicians are busy preparing for the annual "Sounds of Christmas Music Night" for Thursday, December 10th. The concert will feature the junior band, senior band (including our grade 10s!), the Lunch-time Vocals group and our jazz band. We look forward to seeing you all there!
